Welcome

As Quakers, we believe that there is something of God in everyone; all are welcome, regardless of their faith, ethnic background and sexual or gender identity. In our Meetings for Worship we seek a gathered stillness, in which people of widely differing views and experiences find an underlying unity. We warmly invite you to come and share this time with us.

We hold Meetings for Worship on Sunday mornings (including Children’s Meeting) and Thursday evenings. The first Thursday of each month is an outreach Meeting, at which newcomers are particularly welcome.

At present we meet as follows:

In person (socially distanced)

  • 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays: 10:15-11:15am at the Northcourt Centre, Northcourt Road
  • 2nd Sunday: 10:30-11:30am in the garden at St Ethelwold’s, 30 East St Helen Street
  • 1st Thursday (outreach): 7:30-8:15pm indoors at St Ethelwold’s, 30 East St Helen Street

From Sunday 7th August onwards, all Sunday meetings will revert to our pre-pandemic venue, the Abbey Centre (off Audlett Drive), starting at 10:15am.

On Zoom

Zoom meetings are suspended for July and August 2022.
